Last Look Outfitters was founded in 2019 by Blake and Ben Fowler.
Driven by a shared passion for bow fishing, Blake and Ben established the company with a clear mission: to spend as much time as possible on the water. We strive to create unforgettable experiences and lasting memories for our clients.
We are dedicated to providing the highest quality adventures and work tirelessly to ensure each outing is exceptional. Through countless hours of studying fish behavior and refining their techniques. We have developed the knowledge and skill needed to deliver an exciting, action-packed experience.

Ben Fowler
I am a USCG-certified captain and proud co-owner of the Last Look Outfitters team, where I’ve dedicated the past several years to mastering the art and science of bow fishing.
I've always had a deep respect for the water, and that respect has driven me to study everything I can about the fish we target. I take pride in knowing not just how to find fish, but why they’re there, and what conditions bring them in.
Over the years, I’ve spent countless hours analyzing fish behavior studying tides, wind patterns, rainfall, water temperatures, and other key factors. This knowledge allows me to anticipate the best times and places to fish, giving my clients the highest chance of success on every trip.
I’m confident in my ability to deliver consistent, productive trips based on knowledge, timing, and preparation.
When you step on my boat, you can expect a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. I’m approachable and enjoy connecting with people, but I’m also focused and detail-driven when it comes to putting you on fish. I work hard to make every outing safe, fun, and packed with action.

Justin Steffey
First Mate
Justin has been with Last Look Outfitters since day one, and there’s no question he’s played a major role in the company’s success. A lifelong best friend to both Blake and Ben Fowler, Justin is far more than just a first mate—he’s a foundational part of the team and the heart of many unforgettable trips.
With a deep understanding of fishing conditions—tides, wind, weather patterns, water temperature—Justin’s instincts are razor sharp. His knowledge rivals that of any captain, and he consistently helps ensure every trip runs smoothly and successfully. Whether it’s reading the water or setting clients up for the perfect shot, he knows what it takes to make a bowfishing trip exceptional.
Justin has also played a huge role in helping Captain Blake build and maintain the boats. Handy, resourceful, and reliable, he’s the go-to guy for keeping things running behind the scenes—and on the water.
What really makes Justin stand out is his personality. With an incredible sense of humor and a knack for keeping everyone entertained, he brings a fun, laid-back energy to every trip. He thrives on helping others have a great time and goes out of his way to make sure each guest leaves with lasting memories and a successful day on the water.
From start to finish, Justin works tirelessly to make every trip the best it can be—and once you meet him, it’s easy to see why he’s such a valued part of the Last Look Outfitters team.
First Mate
DJ Littleford
DJ has been part of the Last Look Outfitters team since day one and is just as vital to our success as any other member of the crew. Known for his relentless work ethic and sharp attention to detail, DJ is easily one of the hardest-working and most reliable first mates you’ll ever come across.
He excels at communication and is always locked in with the captain, making sure every need is met quickly and efficiently. Whether it's handling gear, preparing the deck, or anticipating what’s needed next, DJ is always one step ahead—keeping everything running like clockwork.
His focus on client experience is second to none. From making sure every guest is comfortable and well-equipped, to checking each bow for peak shooting performance, DJ is constantly working behind the scenes to ensure everything is perfect. He’s even quick to grab a cold drink for passengers or the captain without being asked—just one of the many ways he shows how much he cares about the trip.
However, DJ brings more than just hustle—he brings heart. He’s great at striking up genuine conversations with clients, learning about their work, hobbies, and stories. Whether he’s swapping fishing tales or keeping the vibe upbeat, DJ makes sure there’s never a dull moment onboard.
Always prepared, always engaged, and always working to make the trip better, DJ is a key reason why the Last Look Outfitters experience stands out—and we’re proud to have him as part of the crew.
Other Crew Members
CJ Burke
While he may not be on the boat every night, CJ has been a huge part of Last Look Outfitter’s success over the past three years. Always willing to lend a hand, his dedication, work ethic, and passion for fishing make him an irreplaceable part of our team.
Even when he’s not scheduled, CJ is checking in—calling to see if we need help or making sure the boats are running smoothly. If something needs fixing, he’s the first to show up and get to work. Whatever the task, he’s always ready to jump in and do whatever it takes to support the team.
What truly sets CJ apart though, is his skill and knowledge on the water. He’s constantly out fishing on his own and is quick to share what he learns with the rest of us. Thanks to his scouting and updates, we’re able to stay on fish consistently throughout the season. He’s found fish when no one else could—and time after time, he helps give our clients the best shot at success.
Speaking of shots, he’s hands down the best shooter I’ve ever fished with. Period.
Whether he’s helping with behind-the-scenes work or putting us on productive spots, CJ’s value to Last Look Outfitters can’t be overstated. We’re proud to have him as part of the crew.

Captain Ben Fowler’s
"Crimson Moon" – Custom 24x72 SeaArk
Crimson Moon is the latest addition to the Last Look Outfitters fleet — a fully customized 24x72 SeaArk captained by Ben Fowler. Designed specifically for shallow-water bow fishing, this boat combines lightweight construction with powerful performance to reach waters others simply can’t.
Ben purchased Crimson Moon in December 2023, aiming to build a simple, efficient platform that could float in as little as 5 inches of water. After Blake Fowler’s Blood Shot was completed, Ben’s boat was delivered to Invader Hunting Boats, where Kevin Poole led the design and build process. The focus was on creating a lightweight, durable, and agile boat that excels in shallow conditions.
Once the platform was finalized, Ben and Blake installed all the advanced systems found on Blood Shot, equipping Crimson Moon with top-tier electronics and rigging. In just a week, the boat was fully ready for the water.
Power comes from a 140 HP Suzuki outboard paired with a 240V Harsh lock innovations trolling motor, offering precise control in tight, shallow areas. The boat’s lightweight design allows it to navigate water depths that most boats can’t even approach.
Lighting is a key feature of Crimson Moon’s nighttime hunting capabilities. It’s outfitted with eight 400-watt high-pressure sodium lights by Carp Light, powered by a 9,000-watt Predator generator — providing bright, consistent illumination that lights up the water perfectly for bow fishing after dark.
Completed in May 2024, Crimson Moon has proven itself as a reliable, high-performance shallow-water machine — a true testament to Ben Fowler’s passion for precision bow fishing.
